Chapter 1 - Part 5: Tests

"Yeeeeeesssss!!! I've finished my exam!" Goku yelled excitedly.

"But you haven't received the results yet, Goku." Kakarot giggled.

"Huh... Then why are you laughing? I know you are! I can see it!"

Kakarot laughed. Goku was confused. He didn't know what is wrong with his friend. "Are you having a mental problem?" He blinked.

"N-no! I was laughing at you." The golden hair laughed even more.

Goku glared. "At least don't laugh like that!" He turned his back to Kakarot.

"Hey, hey, hey... Do you know that I've been watching you since the first examination day?" Kakarot stopped laughing and smirked.

"Oh..." Goku sighed. Suddenly, he shocked. "Did you just said, "I've been watching you since the first examination day?"???"

"Yes." Kakarot took out his favourite book.

"Do you mean, you copied my answers?!" Goku asked loudly.

Kakarot sighed. "Why were you thinking I copied your answers?" He stared at Goku.

"You said you've been-"

"Yes. I've been watching you, doesn't mean I copied your answers, idiot." He closed his book.

"Then?!"

"You were acting like the exam papers were too hard."

"What's the same with 'laughing' at me?" Goku sighed again.

"I love the way you acted."

"Huh?"

"You will scratch your face every time when you didn't get what the answer is. Like a cat." Kakarot laughed.

Goku sighed, then covered his face with his bare hands. "How did he saw it?" He thought.

"Furthermore... this is just a simple examination. It's not the real one. You don't need to be so excited." Kakarot read his book while walking left Goku behind.

Goku nodded twice. "I think he's right."

At home...

"Goten, how's your school today?" Goku put his bag on the table inside his room. "School?" Goten blinked. "I don't go to school, brother. Are you dreaming?"

Goku faced down then sighed. "You are so lucky. You don't have to pass exams."


"What's exams?" Goten stared at his brother with the chubby face.


"Exams? They are uhh... some tests for us."

"Are they awesome?!"

"Well, no Goten. We need to think hard to finish it."

"Ohh!!! I would want to try some!" Goten started his puppy eyes. Goku sighed. "No, you can't."

"Why?" Goten with his puppy eyes looking at Goku.

Goku turned around. "Because it is NOT a food." He walked away from Goten.

"It isn't?!" Goten sat on the floor sighed. "I'm hungry."

Goku sighed at the living room. He felt like Goten was hungry. "You've been eaten 7 plates in the restaurant this morning..."

"Huh?" Goten shocked. "I think someone is talking to me?" He mumbled. Then ran to his brother.

"What do you want Goten?" Goku asked Goten with the confused face.

"I... want... nothing." The little chubby face boy sat on the sofa next to his brother.

Goku looked at Goten who was facing down. He pat his brother's head then told him, "Exams are tests for us. We can't eat them. If you want to know more about it, I'll take you to a kindergarden. I'll ask a teacher to explain to you what examination is." Goku smiled.

Goten stared at his brother. "Thank you, bro. But no thanks... I don't want to visit the kindergarden, the teacher will ask where do I school at but I don't have school." He sighed.

"So... do you want to go to school?" Goku smiled happily at his brother.

Goten blushed. "N-no. I only want to go to school when Daddy is back." He sniffed.

"Goten..." Goku sighed and hug Goten. "Dad will come back soon... He will... As sooner as he can... I promised..."

"B-brother." Goten looked sympathy at his brother. Goku hug him tightly.
